Hi math wizards!
I am about one week through the semester, and getting a bit worried about my course work. I just don’t seem to understand the stuff I am learning, especially things to do with math with simplifying logs. Could somebody out there please enlighten me with quadratic equations, powers and interval notation. I can’t afford to look for a tutor, but if anyone knows about other ways of getting better with topics like logarithms or solving a triangle painlessly , please drop me a line
Thanks

I know how hard it can be if you are having problems with math with simplifying logs. It’s a bit hard to assist without more details of your situation . But if you don’t want to pay for a tutor, then why not just use some software and how you go . There are so many programs out there, but one you should consider would be Algebra Master. It is pretty handy plus it is worth the money.

Thanks for the pointer. Algebra Master is really a great algebra software. I was able to get answers to queries I had about trigonometry, graphing lines and perpendicular lines. You simply type in a problem, click on Solve and you get the all the answers you need. You can use it for all types of things, like Pre Algebra, College Algebra and Remedial Algebra. I am really happy with Algebra Master.

I remember having difficulties with solving inequalities, function composition and like denominators. Algebra Master is a truly great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several math classes - Basic Math, Pre Algebra and Remedial Algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
