Hi math gurus!
I am about one week through the semester, and getting a bit worried about my course work. I just don’t seem to grasp the stuff I am learning, especially things to do with worded problems in linear equation. Could somebody out there please lend a hand with perfect square trinomial, converting decimals and y-intercept. I can’t afford to pay for a tutor, but if anyone knows about other ways of learning topics like complex fractions or radicals without fuss , please help me out
Much appreciated

I know how hard it can be if you are having problems with worded problems in linear equation. It’s a bit hard to help you out without more details of your problems . But if you can’t afford a tutor, then why not just use some program and how you go . There are numerous programs out there, but one you should get a hold of would be Algebra Master. It is pretty helpful plus it is pretty cheap .

Thanks for the pointer. Algebra Master is truly a pretty good math software. I was able to get answers to queries I had about subtracting fractions, adding matrices and algebraic signs. You only need to type in a problem, click on Solve and you get the all the explanation you need. You can use it for so many things, like College Algebra, Intermediate algebra and Remedial Algebra. I would highly recommend Algebra Master.

A truly piece of software is Algebra Master. Even I faced similar problems while solving radical expressions, exponential equations and sum of cubes. Just by typing in the problem from homework and clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my algebra homework would be ready. I have used it through several math classes - College Algebra, Intermediate algebra and Basic Math. I highly recommend the program.
