Hi guys . I am facing some difficulty. I simply don’t know what to do . You know, I am having difficulties with my math and need urgent help with finding the nth root of a number- in mixed radical form -without a calculator. Anyone you know whom I can contact with converting decimals, x-intercept and greatest common factor? I tried hard to get a tutor, but was unsuccessful . They are hard to find and also are not cheap. It’s also difficult to find someone fast enough and I have this test coming up. Any advice on what I should do? I would very much appreciate a fast response .

Student can’t seem to think of anything beyond tutoring. Why don’t you try something yourself? There are numerous tools for finding the nth root of a number- in mixed radical form -without a calculator which are a lot better than tutoring. Try Algebrator, and you will never need a tutor.

I would just add a note to what has been posted above. Algebrator no doubt is the best tool one could have. Always use it as a guide and a means to learn and never to copy .

A great piece of math software is Algebrator. Even I faced similar problems while solving like denominators, adding numerators and converting decimals. Just by typing in the problem from homework and clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework would be ready. I have used it through several math classes - Algebra 2, College Algebra and Intermediate algebra. I highly recommend the program.
