solving cubed equations

I have an assignment to submit tomorrow afternoon. But I’m stuck with questions based on solving cubed equations. I’m facing problems understanding parallel lines and quadratic formula because I just can’t seem to figure out a way to solve problems based on them. I called my friends and I tried on the internet, but neither of those activities helped. I’m still trying but the time is short and I can’t seem to get a hang of it. Can somebody please help me ? I really need some help from you guys for tomorrows assignment. Please do reply.
